School Projects

Fall 2025

In my Freshman year at St. Pius X Catholic High School in Atlanta, I became the social media chair for our school’s JGCL (Georgia Junior Classical League) Latin Club. At the Annual State Convention, I won 1st place for the video I created to advertise what our chapter at St. Pius was all about.

UGA DV Prod. Course Final Edit

For our final project in Professor Kreutzer’s Digital Video Production Course, students were given a folder of raw video clips and audio files and asked to compile the media into a coherent storyline. Since the assignment was focused specifically on editing, I was able to think critically about shot selection, pacing, narrative sequencing, and overall storytelling from the perspective of someone face to face with the screen.

GFA Short Film BTS

Under the expertise of working filmmaker, Clint Ross, I took the Georgia Film Academy’s Production Basics for Film and Televsion (GFA 1000). Every Friday for four months in 2024, my peers and I drove to Athena Studios for on-site, hands-on learning with practical exams, guest speakers, and table discussions. At the end of the semester, we put all that which we learned into a final short film where each took on different roles. Drawing out the “costuming, makeup, and behind the scenes” from the roles lottery basket, I was able to see the film come to life through my own lens and help anyone who needed extra assistance. On the right is a reel of the behind-the-scenes footage I collected for the film.

Fall 2020

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, I interviewed a number of students and faculty involved in the world language department at my high school. From trial and error, I learned about different interviewing techniques, how to navigate working within broad health guidelines, and made my own original music in the background after consulting our AP Music Theory teacher for production advice.
