“The Next Big One” (2026)

Working within the Virtually Integrated Research Consortium, The University of Georgia’s VIPR program allowed for the creation of the Luminious Room filmmaking research team. In its first year, the Luminious Room has come together to create, “The Next Big One”, a feature-length documentary exploring resilience efforts across the state of Georgia in reaction to extreme weather events. My role as a teammember allowed me to explore and take on different roles in film production ranging all the way from research, interview scripting, and scheduling to filming, rigging, editing, and even sound design. The documentary is set for an August 2026 release in Athens, Georgia.
